Location. Cafe Schonegg is set on 8 rural hectares in the heart of the Murrumbateman wine region. Enjoy easy parking, wide open spaces, uninterrupted views and there's plenty of space for the kids to fly a kite or kick the footy.
Regional Produce - As members of the Canberra
Slow Food Convivium, we take our produce seriously. Our seasonal
menus feature produce from our gardens and local suppliers including
Kiah free range eggs, La Barre olive oil and Art of Espresso coffee.
Quality meats. We are great fans of Galloway
beef - local studs Honeypot Farm and Minto Stud produce beef to
our specifications and the wonderful team at Harden Butchery produce
our sausages using our secret recipes. We also feature 'La Ionica' chicken -these birds are free-roaming
and chemical free and Ladysmith Lamb - organically raised lamb from Ladysmith near Wagga Wagga.
Special requests and dietary restrictions catered for. As we produce all our food on site, including breads, stocks, pastries and desserts, we are happy to cater for any special requests (such as birthday cakes) or dietary restrictions, please let
us know when you book.
Licensed venue. Our wine list showcases an excellent selection of Murrumbateman wines. Beers, spirits and liqueurs are also available.
Air conditioned. Our r restaurant is air conditioned for your comfort.
