Hi I was just wondering what address I gave you for the competition for Kirsty’s fave painting. As I was in the middle of moving house when I entered and am a little you may have contacted me through my old address regarding the prize.

Also I was wondering if you still had my entry as I really can not remember what I wrote now .. tho I still love that painting

Sunlight on the Terrace , of course!! Because it echoes the view from the terrace at Shonegg. One that Kirsty , no doubt takes in to refresh her when hard at work.

Armand Seguin’s ‘Gabrielle Vien’ I think is Kirsty’s favourite. I like the contrasting effect of Gabrielle’s bright face, fruit and scene through the window with that of the drabness of her dark dress and the room that she is in.

My choice is Sunlight on the Terrace by Maurice Denis as it might remind Kirsty of the lovely sunlit terrace at Schoenegg. I would love to have that happiness evoking picture on my wall.
